Speed Networking session
In the distinguished alumni gathering, Rapport 2023, a collaborative effort between PSG Institute of Management and PSG Management Alumni Association, the spotlight was on the eminent author, investor, and motivational speaker, Mr. Chetan Bhagat. The highlight of the event was a dynamic speed networking session designed to bring together graduates of the institution.
The primary aim of Rapport 2023 was to facilitate meaningful connections and interactions among the alumni, providing a platform for them to expand their professional networks. The event boasted the participation of more than twenty illustrious alumni, including Mr. Prasanna (Batch 2011), the Founder of AppsComp and Joint Secretary of PSGMAA, Mr. Mohan (Batch 1989), the Chairman of National Model Schools, and Mr. Padmanabhan (Batch 1985), serving as the Treasurer of PSGMAA.
Speed Networking:
Speed networking at Rapport 2023 was a structured and time-efficient networking format where participants engage in a series of brief, focused interactions with fellow alumni.
Purpose of speed Networking
Typically conducted in a timed, round-robin style, it allows individuals to quickly introduce themselves, exchange information, and explore potential connections in a condensed period. This format is designed to maximize networking opportunities and build a diverse range of contacts in a short span of time.
Rapport 2023 witnessed a remarkable level of collaborative engagement, with participants actively sharing their knowledge and experiences. The event not only served as a reunion for former students but also as a catalyst for the growth and development of their professional connections.
In Summation, Rapport 2023, a collaborative effort by PSG Institute of Management and PSG Management Alumni Association, featured an impactful speed networking session. With over twenty distinguished alumni participating, including Mr. Prasanna, Mr. Mohan, and Mr. Padmanabhan, the event aimed to foster meaningful connections and interactions among graduates.

The session on From Unknown to Unforgettable” – A Masterclass in Personal Branding lasted for more than hour with the speaker touching on many facets of personal branding,

Mr.MERVYN ROZZ
The standup show opening act was performed by Mr.Williams Rajkumar which was enjoyed by the audience and the show followed by a 45 minute fun filled show from Mr.Mervyn Rozz who touched upon many topics such as MBA course, MBA Subjects, Life of student and also interacted with some of the audience and made it even more interesting and fun filled.
The performance was not only entertaining but also relatable, exceeding our expectations. Mervin Rozz delivered a captivating stand-up comedy that cleverly incorporated elements of MBA life, resonating well with the audience. It was a perfectly tailored comedic experience for the MBA community, offering more than anticipated.
